Departments of the Faculty of ICT
For pursuing its undergraduate degree program, the faculty of ICT includes Telecommunication Engineering Department (TCE), Information Science and Engineering Department (ISE), the department of Science, and the department of Language and Business Communication in its formation. The first two departments act as graduate departments and the two latter departments act as support departments.
Telecommunication Engineering Department
The field of telecommunications in Electrical Engineering works in the field of sending and receiving information using various telecommunication methods, which can be audio, video, computer data. Telecommunication engineering has greatly transformed human life by using high-speed and simple communication between two or more subscribers in different places.
The Telecommunication Engineering Department, which is one of the departments of the Faculty of Information and Telecommunication Technology, started its activities in 2007 at the same time with the beginning of the bachelor's program in the Information and Communication Technology Institute - ICTI and it was upgraded to a graduate department in 2016.

The Department of Telecommunication Engineering strives to be a pioneering, quality and credible educational authority at the national level by providing quality education, developing skilled and specialized human resources, creating a culture of research and sustainable development.
Mission
The Telecommunication Engineering Department strives to increase the satisfaction of dear students by offering up-to-date curricula and skills strengthening programs to train professional staff in the field of Telecommunication Engineering by continuously pursuing quality improvement, motivation to work meaningfully and supporting the professors of the department.
Objectives
- Telecommunication Engineering Department has the following goals for preparing students related to Telecommunication Engineering to prepare students with the necessary professional knowledge.
- Training of professional staff with the ability to use the knowledge of mathematics, science and telecommunications engineering;
- Ability to analyze, design, implement, maintain and manage telecommunication networks;
- Ability to perform in multidisciplinary teams;
- Ability to identify, develop and solve telecommunication engineering problems;
- Understanding random signals and random processes for telecommunication systems analysis;
- Ability to use new techniques, skills and tools needed to practice and apply telecommunications engineering;
- Carrying out research activities to generate knowledge and solve challenges in the telecommunications sector.

Information Science & Engineering (ISE) Department
Introduction
The field of information science & engineering is an interdisciplinary field that introduces a student to the science of programming, software, hardware, computer networks, new topics of technology, electronic business and management, and gives him the ability to use them in order to achieve his goals.
The Information Science & Engineering Department, which is one of the departments of the Faculty of Information and Telecommunication Technology, started its activities in 2007 at the same time with the beginning of the bachelor's program in the Information and Communication Technology Institute - ICTI and it was upgraded to a graduate department in 2016.
Vision:
To establish a suitable environment for quality higher education in various academic levels in the information technology sector and preparing the students for an international society of IT and leading them towards serving the society.
Mission:
Draft, Develop and Practice the IT knowledge in different sectors for the benefit of human beings. Train successful, innovator and dedicated students that are able to utilize technologies for developing the country and solving the contemporary complicated issues. Provide a solid theoretical and practical platform for the practitioners of IT with a focus on data science and software development.
Educational Objectives of Information Science and Engineering
The educational objectives of the Information Science and Engineering Program are:
- Preparing students with the necessary professional knowledge to be getting job in the local and regional labor market
- Equipping graduates with the skills of management, teamwork and leadership of information technology projects
- Graduates capacity building for higher education (master's and doctoral) as well as research and innovation
- The ability of having graduates to understand, analyze and provide appropriate solutions based on information technology to society's problems with ethical responsibilities, professional and specialized skills
