Farsi- Dari Language and Literature Master’s Program

^{Kabul University became the first main university in the region (85) years ago from today, and the Faculty of Languages and Literature and Humanities (82) years ago started its activities in the organizational staff of this scientific institution. The Farsi-Dari and Pashto departments were among the first institutions of the national structure of the Faculty of Languages and Literature and Humanities of Kabul University, each of which has 82 years of scientific and educational experience in the country.}

^{The first master's program in Farsi- Dari and Pashto languages and literature began in 1977 during the reign of David Khan; with the graduation of the first period in 1980 and the advent of change in the country, the master program was stopped. Therefore, during the time of the People's Democratic Party, the program resumed its activities and two courses of students graduated from it. Due to political problems, this program was stopped again and started on March 7, 1978.}

^{Fortunately, during the last 18 years, 12 courses, totaling more than (300) candidates have obtained a master's degree from the Dari Department, and about 13 of them will graduate from the Department of Farsi-Dari Language and Literature.}

Objectives of the Farsi-Dari Language and Literature Master

^{The purpose of the master's program in Farsi-Dari language and literature is multidimensional and is designed to provide higher education and learning for male and female students in this field; to improve their professional and specialized knowledge in the field of Farsi-Dari language and literature. This program provides higher education for those who are currently teaching and working as teachers in the language and literature department of the country's higher education institutions. Also, those who want to improve their education and scientific and practical skills in the field of language and literature can use its educational programs.}

^{In the curriculum of this program; the educational and practical aspects have been considered so that the students of this program can easily obtain information and scientific information in the field of language and literature. Students who participate in this program are required to pay a fee according to the master statement of the Ministry of Higher Education.}

Vision:

^{The vision of the master program of the Department of Languages and Literature is to promote and increase the skills of young students in the field of language and literature. This program trains specialized, professional and specialized cadres in the field of literature and linguistics, and a new field of study and research in the field of literary works of analysis (poetry and prose) for the country's universities and the promotion of their professional knowledge and the development of language culture of Farsi- Dari language and literature.}

Mission

^{The master program, established within the framework of the Farsi-Dari Department of the Faculty of Language and Literature, has the mission to improve students' skills in the field of Farsi-Dari language and literature. The program is also responsible for educating experts and teachers in the fields of literature, linguistics, editing, and the creation of literary and artistic works.}

Main Goals:

^{The aim and purpose of the Farsi-Dari master program is to prepare students and professors of universities; thus that they acquire the necessary skills and competencies in the field of professional and literary knowledge. Through, a group of skilled and experienced professors in the field of specialized knowledge in the country should be prepared so that the cultural studies of the government and society can be provided through the training of trained and experienced cadres.}
