Entrance Examination Administered for Kabul University Master’s Programs
The entrance examination for eight master's degree programs at Kabul University was successfully administered to faculty candidates representing various public universities, resulting in the admission of 64 faculty members into the respective programs.
The inaugural ceremony of the examination was attended by Dr. Osama Aziz, Chancellor of Kabul University; Associate Professor Ziauddin Sirat, Director of Faculty Appointment and Academic Promotion at the Ministry of Higher Education; alongside deans of various faculties and faculty members.
In their opening remarks, the Chancellor and relevant officials assured the candidates of absolute transparency and integrity throughout the examination process.
Notably, the results were officially announced on the same day by the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies.
Currently, Kabul University offers 35 master’s and10 doctoral (PhD) programs. Under the existing quota framework, 8 out of 30 available seats in each master’s program, and 5 out of 12 seats in each doctoral program, are designated for public university faculty members, who secure admission through a rigorous, merit-based internal competitive examination.
