Vision:

Providing high-quality academic and research services in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering that respond to the needs of society.

Mission:

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is committed to utilizing all human, physical, and educational resources to support students in successfully completing their academic and research activities.

Educational Objectives of the Bachelor Program:

It is expected that graduates of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with the following competencies, will be able to serve as engineers in one of the sub-disciplines of Electrical and Electronic Engineering:

  • Ability to solve complex engineering problems by applying professional knowledge gained from scientific disciplines, mathematics, electrical and electronic engineering concepts, and related sciences.
  • Ability to analyze and use modern techniques, resources, and tools suitable for solving complex engineering problems.
  • Ability to design solutions for complex problems and to design components, systems, or processes that meet specific requirements or consider broader needs.
  • Ability to solve complex problems through research and investigation by integrating professional knowledge with professional responsibilities.
  • Ability to establish effective and confident communication to advance complex engineering activities.
  • Ability to understand the impacts of engineering decisions and apply professional ethics for sustainable development.
  • Ability to analyze and design power transmission lines and distribution networks, design residential wiring, and industrial, residential, and commercial installations in compliance with international codes, and provide standard estimates for implementing various engineering projects.
  • Ability to understand and apply control systems in power generation, transmission, and distribution networks.
  • Ability to understand wireless and mobile communication systems and various communication antennas.
  • Ability to understand the operation of analog and digital electronic circuits and power electronic devices.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and design electrical machines (rotating DC and AC machines) and transformers.
  • Ability to conduct scientific research in all sub-disciplines of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge in various professional projects while considering economic constraints.
