Vision, Mission and Goals:
The agriculture faculty is committed to serving as a leading national and international center for scientific research, sustainable agriculture, and modern agricultural science.
Agriculture faculty offers bachelor's and master's degree programs in a range of agricultural and animal husbandry fields to professionals. The ultimate goals of these programs are to train and graduate qualified and professional agriculturists to reduce poverty, increase food security, increase agricultural production, and ultimately boost the country's economy.
Goals:
In Afghanistan, it is permitted to make significant investments in farming. Except for medicines, the agricultural sector contributes to 25% of the GDP. Key objectives for the department are as follows:

Training of agricultural experts who can contribute the growth and satisfy the needs of the markets and society in Agriculture sector.

Agriculture programs are being developed at various bachelor's and master's degree levels for the advancement of research and experts.

Carrying out research projects to tackle agricultural problems and provide food security for the country.

Using conferences, seminars, workshops, and skill-exchange programs to build coordination and scientific research partnership between agricultural enterprises and national and international institutions.

Writing books, and research articles for publication in national and international journals, presentations at seminars and workshops, and other academic activities that focus on helping the poor and those with an interest in agriculture and livestock.
