Plant Protection Department

Vision:

Plant Protection is an active department that is recognized as a valuable and convenient source for providing information on chemicals and plant sciences, growers and the general public. The Plant Protection Department is responsible for training and research in the field of plant pest and disease management for the needs of students and stakeholders and at the same time provides a quality work environment and accurate and unbiased information. The goal of the Plant Protection Department is to develop and share the science of plant protection and regulate pests and diseases by considering adaptive methods of pest control.

Mission:

The mission of the Department of Conservation is to provide science-based education, conduct relevant basic and professional research, and disseminate research-based information to our stakeholders. The Department of Plant Protection is committed to discovering, educating, and providing services to improve the quality of life locally, nationally, and internationally to ensure healthy plants for a healthy world.

Objectives:

  •  Improving the skills and knowledge of students and researchers in plant protection.
  • Raising students' practical knowledge.
  •  Enhancing comparative research services.
  •  Increase and make effective course materials.
  •  Raising plant protection publications (textbooks).
