Teaching and Students Evaluation Methods

Teaching Methods:

The Faculty of Geoscience at Kabul University utilizes standard and scientific teaching methods to enhance the quality of education and provide a standard learning environment. The most important of these methods include the following:

  1. Lectures: Delivering theoretical concepts based on course topics.
  2. Presentations: Using presentation methods to explain subjects.
  3. Educational Videos: Utilizing visual resources to better explain specialized concepts.
  4. Practical and Laboratory Work: Conducting experiments, sample studies, and field exercises to strengthen practical skills.
  5. Scientific Discussions: Organizing individual and group discussions to enhance critical thinking, academic collaboration, and analysis of specialized topics.

Student Assessment Methods:

Student assessment in the Faculty of Geology is conducted in accordance with Article 18 of the Student Assessment Regulation and based on the criteria of the Ministry of Higher Education. Assessment continues from the beginning to the end of the semester, with a total score of 100 points, allocated as follows:
