جهت غم شریکی و گرامیداشت از قربانیان زمین لرزه ولایت‌های پکتیکا و خوست و حوادث طبیعی اخیر در کشور، مراسم ختم قرآن عظیم‌الشان و دعا خوانی در پوهنځی ژورنالیزم و ارتباطات پوهنتون کابل برگزار گردید.

در این مراسم محترم پوهاند محمد شفیع شریفی معاون امور علمی و محترم مولوی معلم احمد حقانی معاون امور مالی و اداری پوهنتون، رییس، استادان، محصلین و کارمندان پوهنځی ژورنالیزم اشتراک کردند.

اشتراک کنندگان این مراسم جهت خوشنودی روح شهدا و غم شریکی با بازماندگان قربانیان زمین لرزه در ولایت‌های پکتیکا، خوست و حوادث طبیعی اخیر در کشور دعا نموده و برای شهدای این حوادث جنت برین و برای مجروحان شفای عاجل و برای بازماندگان آن‌ها از خداوند صبر جمیل استدعا نمودند.

اشتراک کنندگان هم‌چنان خواهان توجه حکومت، تجار و سرمایه‌دار داخلی، نهادها و موسسات خیریه‌ی بین المللی و جهانی در امر کمک رسانی برای قربانیان زمین لرزه در ولایت‌های پکتیکا، خوست و حوادث طبیعی اخیر کشور شدند و آنرا مسوولیت اسلامی، انسانی و بشری همه بیان کردند.

این درحالیست که به گفته مقام‌های حکومتی، در نتیجه زمین لرزه در ولایت‌های پکتیکا و خوست نزدیک 1500 تن جان باخته و صدها خانه تخریب و نابود شده‌است و هم‌چنان صدها راس مواشی نیز تلف گردیده‌است و باشندگان این مناطق نیازمند جدی کمک و هم‌کاری استند.
