About:

The Department of Nuclear and Atomic Physics is one of the newly established departments within the Faculty of Physics at Kabul University. It was established to address the societal needs in the fields of peaceful nuclear energy research, collaborating closely with universities, higher education institutions, and various governmental organizations such as the ministries of health, agriculture, mining, telecommunications, as well as nuclear energy agencies. The department boasts a team of experienced academic staff dedicated to advancing research and education in nuclear and atomic physics within the framework of the Faculty of Physics.

I- vision:

The Department of Nuclear and Atomic Physics endeavors to train qualified personnel through education, research, guidance, and practical projects in the field of nuclear and atomic physics. Our aim is to be recognized as one of the premier scientific and academic institutions in the country and the region.

II- Mission:

The Department of Nuclear and Atomic Physics is committed to addressing the demands of the labor market by providing specialized education and training. Our mission is to enhance expertise through the education and development of academic staff equipped with professional skills, serving not only our own department but also other educational, training, and research institutes.

• Cultivating specialized and innovative scientific endeavors
