Strategic Plan
The Strategic Plan of the Faculty of Fine Arts, developed under the guidance of the faculty leadership and aligned with Kabul University’s strategic objectives, is designed to ensure academic excellence and progress in the field of art. The plan is organized into three main sections and seven chapters.
Chapter One presents the vision, mission, values, and strategic goals. Chapter Two outlines the methodology and examines factors influencing the internal environment. Chapter Three analyzes external environmental factors. Section Two, specifically Chapter Four, provides a strategic analysis of the internal and external environments. In this stage, strategies were derived through the intersection of four components: strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Subsequently, general strategies were prioritized and transformed into high-priority strategic actions. Chapter Five organizes the extracted strategies and integrates them with the strategic goals, clarifying which strategies contribute to achieving specific objectives. Each strategy is coded and assigned an annual share, indicating its implementation timeline and significance. Chapter Six outlines the monitoring and evaluation framework, presenting the general indicators for evaluating strategic performance and the mechanisms through which strategies will be assessed. Section Three contains the five-year operational plan, developed based on the prioritized strategies. This operational plan details annual activities, assigns responsibilities, and specifies timelines, demonstrating how the strategies will be implemented within each one-year cycle. Chapter Seven includes annexes and questionnaires used to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT).
