Results of the Periodic Review of the Faculty of Geology

The periodic review process of the Faculty of Geology at Kabul University was held in 1403 (2024/2025) according to the predetermined schedule of the Academic Vice Presidency and was completed successfully. During this process, the academic, administrative, and teaching documents of the Geography, Geology, and Hydrometeorology Departments were meticulously evaluated by the periodic review panel.

The results of the periodic review indicated that all three departments have regular activities in the areas of teaching, annual evaluation, administration of administrative affairs, and curriculum implementation, and the continuation of their activities within the current structure was confirmed.

After finalization, the periodic review report was approved by the Central Quality Assurance Committee and the University's Academic Council, and it was sent to the Ministry of Higher Education via letter number (206/126) dated 29/04/1404 (July 18, 2025).

The periodic review of the Faculty of Geology was completed successfully, and its results indicate the continuity of fruitful activities, compliance with academic standards, and the readiness of the three departments for further improvement and enhancement in the future.
