Painting Department
In fact, the Faculty of Fine Arts was established in 1345 with painting and sculpture courses. In 1347, you also added music, allegory, calligraphy, photography and speech courses. In 1345 by Professor Amanullah Heidarzad and with the personal support of the then President Martyr Mohammad Daud Khan, the departments of painting, sculpture and graphics were upgraded to a department and in 1984 to a faculty.
Promotion of the painting department with international standards as an institution with national and global prestige in the field of cultivating artistic talents and training scientific and academic staff.
Art development in Afghanistan through the training of creative artists in the light of Islamic beliefs in order to achieve peace and progress.
