Current Situation

Mathematics faculty was developed from department to faculty by 2016. Recently it has four non-graduate departments (Mathematical Analysis Department, Algebra Department, Applied Mathematics and General Mathematics) and Mathematics. The faculty has a computer Lab, which is facilitated with the internet and the students can use Mathematica, MATLAB, Maple, C++ programs and a library with almost 1000 books which most of them donated by a DAAD organization of Germany, these books are benefit of students and lecturers.

The faculty of Mathematics has 24 academia and are teaching in the faculty and different mathematics subject of the faculties of Kabul University. This faculty has four official employees and three service staffs.

The faculty scientific council has divided the faculty members to the several internal committees and each committee is obliged to perform its duties properly and report on its functions to the faculty scientific council.
