دا ډيپارټمنټ په ۱۳۹۰ کال کې د پوهنځي له تأسیس سره د دغه پوهنځي په چوکات کې په پام کې و. د یوې علمي رشتې او دیسیپلین په توګه د عامه ادارې له تأسیس څخه، مختلفو پوهانو خپل فعالیتونه د خپلو هېوادونو پر عامه ادارو د تحقیق او مطالعې لپاره وقف کړي دي. د عامه ادارې ډیری مضمونونه د اداري علومو له ډلې څخه دي، دغه مضمونونه تر ډېره د عامه ادارو پر جوړښت، د جوړښتونو پررتشکیلاتو، په عامه ادارو کې د ریفورم جوړول، له اداري فساد سره مبارزه، حقوقي چوکاټونه، د عامه ادارو فعالیتونه او نورو موضوعاتو باندې خبرې لري.
