د ټولنيزو علومو پوهنځي په چوکاټ کې د افغانستان د معاصر تاريخ تدریس په ۵۰ لسيزه کې د عمومي تاريخ د څانګې تر چتر لاندې تر سره کېدو، په ۱۳۶۲ کال د افغانستان د نوي تاريخ ډيپارټمنټ د يوې خپلواکې علمي څانګې په توګه د افغانستان د معاصر تاریخ د موضوع د تدریس په موخه رامنځته شوه.

ب.موخې:

لیدلوری:

د تعلیمي فرصتونو رامینځته کول چې د افغانستان د معاصر تاریخ په برخه کې د محصلینو پوهه، چلند او مهارتونه لوړ کیفیت ولري.

مأموریت:

د افغانستان د معاصر تاریخ د پېښو له اساسي مفاهیمو سره پوره آشنایي، د افغانستان د معاصر تاریخ په بېلابېلو پړاوونو کې د پېښو سمه پېژندنه او تشخیص.

اساسي موخې:

د تاریخ د علم موضوع له پخوا سره تړاو لري، مګر معاصر تاریخ نه ډېر لرغونی. په دې برخه کې محصلین کولای شي چې د خپل هېواد له نږدې ماضي حالاتو څخه خبر شي او پوه شي چې پاچاهانو، اشرافو، وزیرانو، ليکوالو کوم او څه کارونه کړي دي چې هېواد يې نن په دې حالت کې دی.
