ریاضیاتو پوهنځی دهېواد په کچه دیوې مهمې څانګې په توګه په ۱۳۲۱ لمریز کال د فزیک سره یوځای د ساینس پوهنځي په چوکاټ کې منځ ته راغله. د ساینس پوهنځي د مخینې له پلوه د کابل پوهنتون د طب او حقوقو له پوهنځیو څخه وروسته درېیم پوهنځی ده. هغه مهال د ساینس پوهنځي دوو څانګو (ریاضی او فزیک) او (کمیا او بیولوژي) لرونکی وو.

په ۱۳۴۸ لمریز کال کې دساینس پوهنځی اکادمیک جوړښت بدلون وموند او پورتنۍ هرې څانګې په ځانګړي یا مستقل ډول ‎په فعالیت ‎پیل وکړ. ورپسې په ۱۳۹۵ لمریز کال کې د ساینس پوهنځي پورتنی هره څانګه په پوهنځي بدله شوه او په فعالیت یې پیل وکړ .

په دې وروستیو کې د ریاضیاتو پوهنځي، کابل پوهنتون او لوړو زده کړو وزارت د رهبرۍ د ځانګړی پاملرنې په پایله کې د لیسانس په کچه د شپې پنځه کلن او دماستری دورې دوه کلن پروګرام په رسمي ډول پیل شو او محصلین د امتحاناتو ملی کمیتې له لوری یادو برنامو ته را پېژندل شول.
