Management and Business Administration Department

a. Introduction

Management and Business Administration Department is a leading department in providing educational services for the undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Economics of Kabul University. This department was established in 1974 and was called the Enterprise Economics based on the necessity of the market. The mentioned department had different names and missions through years of service, finally, it was named the Management and Business Administration Department. Management and Business Administration Department is committed to playing a leading role in providing quality and professional education in the fields of Management and increment of job opportunities.

Vision

To expand and increase job opportunities, the Management and Business Administration Department is committed to playing a leading role in providing quality education in Management and Business Administration.

Mission

Enabling students to successfully lead and manage entrepreneurship through educating them with the required skills in the workplace and providing them with better knowledge.

Main Goals of this Department

  • Providing academic and supportive environment for the students.
  •  Implementing the curriculum based on the requirements of the market.
  •  Facilitating student-oriented learning methodologies based on OBE and SCL.
  •  Educating students with long-term learning skills.
  • Establishing effective mutual relations with entrepreneurships and other organizations.

b. Memorandum of understanding

  1. For technical support and capacity building of the undergraduate and postgraduate students, having a MoU signed with Ball State University of the United States.
  2. To strengthen and reinforce entrepreneurship activities in Afghanistan, having a MoU signed with Ministry of Industries and Commerce.

c. Laboratory and learning equipment

The Faculty of Economics consists of a computer lab equipped with 35 computers used equally by all departments.
