Briefing Session on Postgraduate Programs Policy Document Convened
The Office of Postgraduate Programs Coordination at Kabul University convened a one-day briefing session to elucidate the "Postgraduate Programs Policy Document".
The session was attended by faculty deans of Kabul University, qualified postgraduate professors, faculty members from state universities, postgraduate program officials from the Police Academy, and administrative staff from the Postgraduate Department of the Directorate of Academic Programs Development at the Ministry of Higher Education.
In alignment with current guidelines, this comprehensive policy document incorporates framework criteria for establishing postgraduate programs, curriculum development, benchmarking models from reputable international academic institutions, program requirements, available infrastructure, specialized and qualified faculty, student admission and graduation protocols, alongside program management and oversight mechanisms.
During the concluding segment, the designated professors explicated the technical dimensions and operational guidelines of the policy document. Subsequently, a question-and-answer session was conducted, harvesting insights and recommendations from the participants to ensure the compilation of an exhaustive and robust final document.
