Signing of Memorandum of Scientific and Research Cooperation between Kabul University and Baghlan University
Professor Abdul Qadir Mahan, Chancellor of Baghlan University and Professor Dr. M. Osman Babury Chancellor of Kabul University; by presence of Pro. Shafi Sharifi academic vice chancellor of Kabul University on Saturday 5th of Sep 2020; signed a Memorandum of Scientific and Research for purpose of " providing a platform for the exchange of academic and scientific cooperation and practical experiences between the two educational institutions"," exploitation and exchange of scientific, academic and professional experiences between the parties".
According to this memorandum, both universities in the field of implementing effective research strategies to enhance the research capacity of professors; exchange of scientific, academic and professional experiences; use of books, scientific journals and other educational facilities; paving the way for scientific research and joint cultural and sports activities; laying the groundwork for joint practical work of professors and students of both universities; holding joint scientific conferences and seminars; taking exams for academic staff; preparing the ground for scientific and research guidance of professors, students, ……... will cooperate.
Baghlan University was established as one of the most prestigious universities in the country in 1962 and started its activities within the Ministry of Higher Education and now has seven faculties of (Journalism, Literature and Humanities, Sharia Law, Engineering, Economics, Agriculture and Education) has provided higher education for about 5400 students in the country.
