The Minister of Higher Education and the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the Chancellor of KU

Dr. Abbas Basir, Minister of Higher Education, and Dr. Bahador Aminian, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, and his accompanying delegation met with Kabul University and the University Board of Governors on Wednesday, 14th July 2021 to discuss issues such as strengthening academic; scientific and cultural cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran; the Ministry of Higher Education and Kabul University spoke.
Dr. Abbas Basir, Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Bahador Aminian, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul and Dr. Mohammad Osman Babury Chancellor of Kabul University, while the Vice-Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs were present, each sides expressed satisfaction with the meeting, they talked about scientific-cultural relations and cooperation, the strengthening of this cooperation, as well as the resumption of the construction project of the Department of Dari Language and Literature. In this meeting, all three sides called Afghanistan and Iran friendly countries with deep religious, economic, historical, social and cultural commonalities and emphasized on the strengthening of this cooperation and the strengthening of academic and scientific-cultural relations between the scientific and academic institutions of the two sides.
The Minister of Higher Education and the Chancellor of Kabul University, after the speeches of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran; shared the issue regarding the lack of clarification of the reason for stopping the construction of the Department of Dari Language and Literature, which is being built by Iran at Kabul University, then; they thanked Iran for its cooperation and emphasized and committed on cooperating in resolving legal challenges and resuming and continuing its construction work.
