Memorandum of Academic and Research Cooperation Signed between Kabul and Laghman University
Memorandum of Academic and Scientific and Research Cooperation between Kabul University and Laghman University on Tuesday, 16th Feb 2021 based on the strategic plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Kabul University change plan prepared by the Governing Board of this university to establish scientific and academic cooperation relations. The development of joint scientific research and the improvement of the quality of education were signed between the two institutions.
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Osman Babury Chancellor of Kabul University while speaking welcomed Prof. Mirwais Sediqmal Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs of Laghman University, and expressed his satisfaction with the provision of joint cooperation. And called it effective in the growth and strengthening of the country's higher education. Prof. Dr. Babury, emphasized on the implementation of the obligations of this institution under this Memorandum of Understanding, promised on behalf of Kabul University that he would be ready for cooperation with Laghman University.
Prof. Mirwais Sediqmal Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs of Laghman University thanked the Board of Governors of Kabul University for their willingness to cooperate with Laghman University and said that Kabul University is the largest university in the country in terms of experience and facilities in academic affairs. And implementation of this memorandum between these universities will contribute to the growth and improvement of the quality of higher education at Laghman University. He also emphasized on the implementation of all the provisions of this memorandum and announced his eagerness to implement it on behalf of Laghman University.
The purpose of signing this memorandum is to provide cooperation between the two institutions to establish academic; scientific and research relations and to pave the way for capacity building and access to the available facilities in these two institutions, based on mutual research programs, seminars and academic; scientific meetings, educational workshops, mutual access to the facilities in these two scientific institutions and besides; other academic collaborations will be done.
