An Introduction and Analysis of Figures Using SPSS Software Workshop
Twenty-four professors from different faculties of Kabul University attended a workshop "Introduction and analysis of figures using SPSS software" organized by the Professional Development Center of Kabul University on Wednesday, 21st of April 2020 and attended that the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of Kabul University participated and certificates distributed to them.
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Osman Babury Chancellor of Kabul University, while distributing certificates to the participants of this workshop, thanked the officials of Kabul University Professional Development Center and said that holding such programs at Kabul University is a great positive step and causes scientific and academic transformation in University. Dr. Babury expressed his hope that the Professional Development Center of Kabul University will become a well equipped research center and will do fundamental work to improve the quality of the country's education system. The chancellor of Kabul University said that the educational curriculum of this center should be developed and in the departments where there is an urgent need, programs and scientific-research workshops should be set up in accordance with the curriculum and this will increase the quality of education in the university.
Meanwhile, Farid Ahmad Tanin, a professor of Faculty of Veterinary and director of the Professional Development Center at Kabul University, said that the center would continue to hold such programs and workshops in various departments. According to Mr. Tanin, knowledge and access to standard research methods, publishing scientific articles in international journals and standard teaching methods are among the most urgent problems in the country's education system, and holding training and workshops in this regard will be effective and useful. The workshop "Introduction and Analysis of Figures Using SPSS Software" was held for three days for twenty-four professors of different faculties of Kabul University with the aim of teaching research methods, publishing scientific articles in international journals and improving teaching methods.
