The Chancellor of Kabul University Participated in the Opening Ceremony of the Acting Workshop of Prof. M. Azim Hosseinzadah and the graduation of students from the Council Theater Workshop
The inauguration ceremony of the acting workshop of Professor Mohammad Azim Hosseinzadah, former professor of the Faculty of Fine Arts and the seventh graduation of students from the Council Theater workshop on Tuesday, 25th of May 2021 at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Kabul University with the participation of Prof. Dr. M. Osman Babury Chancellor of Kabul University, Dean and professors of the Faculty of Fine Arts and students of this faculty were held.
At the beginning of the event, Prof. Dr. M. Osman Babury Chancellor of Kabul University expressed his gratitude from the governing board of the Faculty of Fine Arts for inaugurating the acting workshop of the late Professor Mohammad Azim Hosseinzadah and the graduation of students from the Council Theater Workshop. Dr. Babury said ″ inaugurating of the academic acting workshop are good and the governing board of Kabul University is cooperative and supportive in this regard″. Dr. Babury added that the art of theater is important in life and in different cases, the presented works of art by artists can be inspired and sought to think. The Chancellor of Kabul University added that the Faculty of Fine Arts has made positive progress in the last twenty years and this is a good example at the university. Dr. Babury also asked the professors and students of the university to be cooperative and unified in the direction of positive academic change in this national institution.
On the other hand, Professor Samiullah Nabipour, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, thanked the Chancellor of Kabul University for attending the event and said that the Faculty of Fine Arts takes a step towards creating national and human values and considers it its duty to appreciate academic and scientific personalities. Prof. Nabipour added that the place of the Professor Mohammad Azim Hosseinzadah and his valuable works is always missing and will never be forgotten. The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, emphasized on the importance of holding educational and artistic workshops, and said that they will work by full coordination and consensus with the governing board of Kabul University for a positive change in this academic place.
It is worth mentioning that the council theater workshop was organized with the help and cooperation of the Civil Service Office for Peace in Afghanistan (GIZ) and this workshop ended with the performance of four plays by sophomore students of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
