Holding a Capacity Building Workshop for KU Students to Promote Peace

Kabul University students' capacity building workshop in order to promote the culture of peace was held on Tuesday, 27th July 2021, with the participation of a number of students from different faculties of Kabul University.
The workshop was organized by the Institute for Peace Education and Research in cooperation with the Student Affairs Office of Kabul University. The workshop will teach participants on the topics of peace, conflict, violence and promoting a culture of peace in the country. This workshop tries to encourage the participants by learning about the benefits and goodness of the culture of peace in the country. The workshop is for ten days and is attended by twenty students from different faculties.
At the end of the workshop, ten of the twenty participants will be selected as top students to be further training in the next steps to promote a culture of peace in the country. The Peace Culture Promotion Program in Afghanistan is supported by the European Union and other institutions and is planned to be implemented at Kabul and Nangarhar Universities.
