Current Situation of Journalism Faculty:
Journalism Faculty at KU consists of 22 Lecturers (1 PhD, 8 Master, and 13 BA) in two departments of TV and Radio and Publishing in day and night shifts within 650 male and female . students continuing their lessons theoretically. The teaching system is based on Lecture, Powerpoint the partnership programs with Nebraska in Omaha of USA. The new building this faculty has three floors with Studio for Radio and TV and digital Media. There is English Language training for teachers. Nine teachers traveled to Nebraska for exchange programs the second group has plan to travel to Nebraska this year.

Publishing of Academic Magazines
Publishing of 15 Lecture Notes as book with the this faculties teachers financial supports.
Photography Lab by the cooperation of Turkish People, to teach Photojournalism subject professionally.
Completion of equipment’s for TV trainings by the support of Turkey Embassy, to have practical lessons in production of TV programs.
Re start of Radio University Voice with students academic outcomes.
Employment of 2 professions in Radio and TV education Studio.
Establishment professional Library in the campus (KU)
Re equip of Computer Lab with the support of Asia Foundation and USA Embassy.
Agreement with one of universities in Iran to have MA andPHD programs
update and completing of new curriculum based on credit system.
Translation of three teaching books by the name of ( journalism research, Online Design and Online Journalism) from English to Dari by financial support of USA Embassy.
Coming of young teacher from USA after completing his MA.
Preparation to organize 2 weeks Training about Degital Radio and TV techniques in the faculty by financial support of Dutch wale Radio in Germany for 12 teachers and Radio and TV Departments in April of 2013

Based on protocol with Journalism Faculty, KU and DED the written books of journalism faculty teachers are published. These books facilitate the teaching and learning system in this faculty.
Visit of Academic Cadres of Nebraska University from Journalism Faculty:
The partnership protocol between Journalism Faculty and Nebraska University of USA are signed in the presence of Chancellor, Academic Delegations and Professors. On that day Mr.Tamson the Chancellor of Nebraska University and number of Professors visited the Journalism Faculty at KU. Based on this protocol the KU Journalism Faculty Teachers and Students travel to USA to develop their language skills. This partnership is for three years, the Nebraska University Teachers and Technicians organize workshops and trainings in Radio, TV and Media technical issues.
Academic Partnership of Journalism Faculty with Communication Department of Nebraska University:
This Protocol assigned in 1389 for three years, according this protocol every year 5 female and male teachers travel to USA in order to build their English Language skills, teaching Methods. The first group traveled in March of 2011 and beside learning English they visited historical places of this country and they worked on curriculum of Journalism Faculty. the partnership protocol between Journalism Faculty and Nebraska University of USA are signed in the presence of Chancellor, Academic Delegations and Professors. On that day Mr.Tam the Chancellor of Nebraska University and number of Professors visited the Journalism Faculty at KU. This protocol include exchange programs for example a group of researchers and teachers are planning to come to Afghanistan in order to have academic and technical support with Journalism Faculty. technical issues.
The new building of this faculty completed in 2012 by the support of USA Embassy which equipped with Publishing, Radio TV Labs, and classes.

The partnership protocol between Journalism Faculty and Nebraska University of USA are signed in the presence of Chancellor, in 27th of September the Team work of UNESCO from Malaysia organized one day workshop, .
