Curriculum Vita of Economics Faculty Dean,

Assistant Professor Amir Hamza Aslami, Dean of Economics Faculty of Kabul University has born in 1982 in Draym district of Badakhshan province of Afghanistan. He has graduated from Saif Shaheed High School of Faizabad, Badakhshan with high level of scores.

After passing the Kankor examination in 2002, and enrolling at Faculty of Economics of Kabul University, he has graduated with grade (A) from economics Faculty of Kabul University in 2006; and in 2007 he has been hired as Economics lecturer at national economics department of Economics faculty, Kabul University.

On November 20th, 2009; he left for Bochum, Germany, to pursue Upgrading, and after successfully completion of Upgrading course in 2011, he started Master's Degree and completed the course on September 18th, 2013 at the University of Ruhr.

He also became a member of the Scientific Council of Faculty in 2017 and later became a member of the Examinations Committee and eventually appointed the committee. He also joined the Ministry of Higher Education's Strategic Plans Evaluation Committee in Year 2017. Assistant Professor Amir Hamzeh Aslami was appointed as Acting Dean of the Economics Faculty of Kabul University on April 9, 2019 and participated as a member of the Honorable Scientific Council of Kabul University. Followed by the decree of His-Excellency Mr. President of the Republic of Afghanistan, on July 20, 2019, he was appointed as the Dean of The Economics Faculty of Kabul University.

Assistant Professor Amir Hamza Aslami has conducted and published three research projects under the various titles of the National Centre for Policy Research of Kabul University. He has also published six scientific articles under various titles in the Journals of Economics and Journalism Faculties of Kabul University. He has participated in various internal and external workshops, seminars, symposiums and conferences. He is fluent in Dari, Pashto and English.

From 2007 to now, Professor Aslami has made numerous trips to deferent countries including Germany, France, China, India and Iran.
