Foreign Relations and Cultural Affairs Background

  The directorate of Foreign Relations and Cultural Affairs supplemented to the main organizational structure of Kabul University in 1338. This office was established as way of correlation with political and cultural organizations and universities inside the country and around the globe.

  • To maintain correlation and unison with governmental offices in order to introduce candidates for educational programs and scholarships outside of the country.
  • To provide facilities for getting passport and visa from the embassies, for the sake of official travels inside and foreign countries around the world.
  • To maintain correlation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in particular with the Councilor offices to accomplish related duties
  • To send reports of the official trips to the board, Reformation Commission and Civil Services at the end of each trip.
  • To provide facilities official trips for teachers and employees to participate in the conferences, seminars, workshops, symposiums, study trips and observations of training courses outside of the country for short term periods.
  • To prepare and arrange meeting minutes, protocols, memorandum of understandings and education contracts of Kabul University with the universities in foreign countries.
  • To implement the contracts and MoU of Kabul University with internal and foreign universities.
  • To prepare the invitations for foreign scholars, lecturers and professionals for teaching and academic and technical cooperation with Kabul University.
