The Modern Kazakhstan: Developing Democracy, Developing Citizenship" at Kazakhstan Embassy in Kabul

Professor Hamidullah Farooqi Chancellor of Kabul University and Senior Minister Adviser of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Higher Education Affairs; have participated and delivered his speech in a meeting on Thursday, November 28th; 2019, by the official invitation of Kazakhstan's Ambassador in Kabul, Mr. Aleemkhan Yisingildiyov, the convention entitled " The Modern Kazakhstan: Developing Democracy, Developing Citizenship" at Kazakhstan Embassy in Kabul Afghanistan.

Professor Hamidullah Farooqi delivered his speech at the conference, while a number of other politicians, academics and civil society activists were attended, Mr. Farooqi spoke; discussed and influenced Kazakhstan's role in Afghanistan's peace, security, trade, economy, cultural and academic issues; he called their role effective and  positive. Following his remarks, Mr. Farooqi called on the ambassador of Kazakhstan to embark on a variety of scientific and cultural partnerships, including the recent Kabul University agreement with the Al-Farabi University of Kazakhstan, to provide more and better academic and educational opportunities for Afghan students, faculty exchange and shared research opportunities. The academic institutions of both countries are working to deepen the relations between the two countries, which has been welcomed by Mr. Aleem Khan, the ambassador, in his remarks referring to the country's current cooperation with Afghanistan and providing education to hundreds of Afghan students in Kazakhstan Universities; he emphasized on   its commitment to develop this cooperation.

Afghanistan and Kazakhstan have reciprocal partnerships in a variety of areas such as peace, security, trade, economics, cultural and academic affairs, and one of the most prominent examples is providing Afghan students with education in that country.
