The Final Round of Konkor the National Examinations at the Kabul University was held

The final round of the Konkor exam was held on Friday, 28th June, 2019. This year 5,000 volunteers male and female from 12th grade graduates from Kabul and some other provinces in Kabul University passed their Konkor exam.

The exam lunched at Kabul University's Central Library Hall, that Diploma Engineer Dr. Abdul Tawab Balakarzain minister of the Ministry of Higher Education and the academic Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education; Professor Hamidullah Farooqi Chancellor of Kabul University and Advisor of Chief Minister in Higher Education Affairs of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan; Professor Abdul Qadir Khamosh head of the National Examination Office and a number of Kabul University deans and professors were participated.

First, Diploma Engineer Dr. Abdul Tawab Balakarzain minister of the Ministry of Higher Education and the academic Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education; commended the successful completion of the 1398 Konkor exam, talked about the country's scientific community and the National Examination Office, and admired the National Examination Office and all departments who contributed to the discipline, regulation and transparency of the exams. The Minister of Higher Education has provided information on the number of volunteers of this year's examinations and other specializations and the number of their recruitment in institutions and institutes of higher education in the country. In the test of 1398, about 80 percent of the candidates will be hired to their fields of interest.

Then, Professor Hamidullah Farooqi Chancellor of Kabul University and Advisor of Chief Minister in Higher Education Affairs of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan; thanked the National Bureau of Examinations for conducting successful examinations of this year and the role of universities and institutions in the field of regulation and transparency of this national process. Kabul University has praised the efforts of government leadership and the country's higher education sector in recent years to provide the appropriate conditions for the national process and enhance the level of transparency in the process. He noted that through competitive and transparent examination of the Konkor through raising the best talent and the most hard worker students to higher education institutions has also improved the quality of the state of the universities and higher education institutions and has changed the society's attitude towards the education sector.

Afterward, Pohand Abdul Qadir Khamoush, general director of the National Examination Office, also mentioned the successful completion of the exam in this year, and the results will be announced on 11th June 2019.
