The Red Cross International Committee donated (209) volume of book to the Central Library of Kabul University

 

The (209) volume of book, which includes 90 titles of books related to international humanitarian law and the rights of war, was sponsored by the World Committee of the Red Cross in Kabul, for the Central Library of Kabul University. These books were handed over to the officials of the Central Library of Kabul University by Yar Mohammad Yari the honorary counselor of the International Committee of the Red Cross and Ms. Masouda Sadeqi the assistance of the International Committee.

The counselor of the International Committee of the Red Cross about donation of the books said that before the students of law and political sciences of universities in the country came to the Red Cross Office to prepare and write their monographs. And because of the high price of these books, students could not buy the books. The Red Cross Office was determined to donate these books to the central library of Kabul University so that students from Kabul University and other universities in the country make use of it more efficiently.

Also, Habibullah Lamar Jahanyar, head of the Central Library of Kabul University, on behalf of the Kabul University, thanked the International Committee of the Red Cross for humanitarian aid, and promised to provide the most opportunity for the students to have access to the donated books and include these books in the system and make them available to use.
