Graduation of "26" students, from the Department of Social Work at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Kabul University

The Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences at Kabul University presented the second round of 26 graduates of the Social Work Department to the community. The graduation ceremony was held on Tuesday in honor of Dr. Mohammad Naeem Azimi, vice chancellor of academic Affairs and chairman of Kabul University, Mr. Ghulam Heydar Jilani, Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor of Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Mr. Satar Seddiqi, head of the Faculty of Psychology and Education, members of UNICEF, Warchild Canada and Save The Children, professors, staff members, graduates and their families were participated.

At this ceremony, Professor Dr. Mohammad Naeem Azimi, vice chancellor of academic Affairs and chairman of Kabul University, on behalf of the leadership of this university, commended the presence of all the participants in this program and highly praised their attendance at this celebration. vice chancellor of academic Affairs at Kabul University, while speaking about the quantitative and qualitative programs of this university, added that the leadership of this university has consistently sought to develop all its scientific programs in accordance with the needs of society and the public. The Department of Social Work of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences is also based on the needs of the community and has provided two graduates to serve the people and society.

In addition, Mr. Azimi announced the creation of a Department of Social Work Department at Kabul University, urged graduate students not to undergo a bachelor's degree, sought to achieve higher academic degrees (master's degrees and doctoral degrees) People and their country.

Mr. Azimi, highlighted the current development of the Kabul University because of the scholars’ researches, and asked from all teachers and scholars and students of Kabul University have demanded that they follow the research attitude, adapt themselves to the research culture, in order to identify the identity of higher education and universities. Vice chancellor of academic Affairs, while congratulating students graduation to them; their relatives and distinguished professors, thanked the support and assistance of all the partner groups.

Then, Mr. Satar Seddiqi, head of the Faculty of Psychology and Education  of the Kabul University welcomed the attended guests and participants of the program. He called the Social Work Department one of the newly established disciplines within the framework of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of Kabul University. This department established based on the needs of the community and the labor market.

Mr. Siddiqui mentioned that the goal of creating this field is providing social services and understanding of social damages, and its field of activity has been highlighted by all sectors of society, especially children and young people of the country. The head of the Faculty of Psychology and Education congratulated students on their graduation from the Social Work Department, and thanked the Department for the favorable assistance and support of all the national and international departments.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ghulam Heydar Jilani, Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor of Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Mrs. Khadija Mohammadi, representative of the Warchild Canada Office, representative of Save The Children, while talking about the programs and activities of their departments, congratulated the students' graduation from the Department The social work of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of Kabul University and encouraged them to serve the country.

At the end of the program, graduated students received their certificates from the leadership of Kabul University, the Faculty of Psychology and Education and other guests.
