The Second "Physics without Frontier" Seminar at Kabul University

The presidency of Kabul University and the Faculty of Science is proud to host the second international seminar " Physics without Frontier " on Sunday, 21st  of April, with the presence of the Dr. Mohammad Naeem Azimi, vice chancellor of academic Affairs and chairman of Kabul University, Pohand Zalmai Ahmadzai, dean of  Faculty of Physics, Ms. Kata Shawa, the Coordinator of the "Physics without Frontier" Program, a number of deans of faculties, a number of domestic and foreign researches, professors and students of Kabul University in the central auditorium of this University. 

This seminar, aimed at introducing the fundamental concept of high energy and recognizing the participants from the initial concept of different aspects of physics activity, at the beginning, Pohand Zalmai Ahmadzai, dean of the faculty of physics, the presence of the participants of the program, speaking about the programs and activities of that faculty, they thanked the full support of the Kabul University and its affiliated organizations for the program.

Consequently; Dr. Mohammad Naeem Azimi, vice chancellor of academic Affairs and chairman of Kabul University, welcomed the attendance of all the participants in this scientific program. The leadership of the Physics Faculty; faculty members and colleagues thanked for the holding of this important seminar. Kabul University vice chancellor of academic Affairs organization of such scientific and research programs important in order to improve the capacity of students and scholars to highlight one of the major responsibilities of universities and academic institutions.

Mr. Azimi added that the leadership of the Kabul University has always tried to change the quality of the institute and wants to revive its university identity through its scientific and research activities. Meanwhile, Mr. Azimi spoke about the duties and role of universities in the community, saying that scientific institutions should be responsible for teaching and research on scientific issues and society, that Kabul University as an institution in the country.

At the end, Dr. Mohammad Naeem Azimi, vice chancellor of academic Affairs of Kabul University expressed his gratitude to the organizers and international partners in launching the program, calling on other faculties to work on such programs.

In this program, Mrs.  Kata Shawa, the Coordinator of the " Physics without Frontier "  Program, Professor Pohnar Baktash Amini, professor at the Faculty of Physics and representative of Afghanistan at CERN and ICTP and a number of other scholars and researchers, also talked about the importance and value of such seminars, expressed hope that participants to use effectively from such programs.

It is important to be noted that the opening ceremony of the International Scientific Seminar entitled "Physics without Frontier" will take place in the central auditorium office of the Kabul University and the presentation of the seminars continued for four days after the end of the opening ceremony.
