Signing a Memorandum of Agreement between Kabul University and Ibn Sina's Private University

Based on previous agreements between Kabul University and Ibn Sina’s Private University, in order to collaborate and to provide and share academic and educational resources among these institutions, a ceremony on this issue is scheduled to be held on Wednesday 17th October 2018 in Kabul University Council Hall.

At the ceremony of the signing of this memorandum of agreement, Prof.  Hamidullah Farooqi Chancellor of Kabul University and Senior Minister Adviser of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Higher Education Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Amin Ahmadi, Chancellor of Ibn Sina University, the deputies of Kabul University and Ibn Sina's University, and a number of professors and staff of these academic institutions were participated.

At the beginning of the program, Prof.  Hamidullah Farooqi Chancellor of Kabul University and Senior Minister Adviser of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Higher Education Affairs, welcomed all the participants and signed a memorandum of cooperation between Kabul University and Ibn Sina's University, to do joint academic and research work. Kabul University Chancellor added that Kabul University, as the oldest and most magnificent academic institution in the country, seeks to expand its relations with academic institutions and various national and international institutions according to its policies.

Mr. Farooqi expressed his satisfaction with the agreement of the academic and research cooperation with this institution, while thanking the efforts of Kabul University Academic Affairs Deputy and the leadership of Ibn Sina University.  According to the terms of the memorandum of agreement all the scientific and technical facilities of this university are available to Ibn Sina academic institution.

Subsequently, Dr. Mohammad Amin Ahmadi, Chancellor of Ibn Sina University, also described the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement on cooperation with Kabul University as a university-mate and a national institution with a history as an honor for that university of Ibn Sina and Kabul University's policy of reducing the gap between public and private sector in the field of higher education.

Mr. Ahmadi, thanked Kabul University Chancellor for facilitating this opportunity to do joint scientific and research work, while expressing their readiness to work together to ensure that their respective academic institutions will provide the facilities to Kabul University. And the capabilities of Kabul University are also valuable. At the end, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the authorities of these institutions. Of course, according to the memorandum of agreement, those institutions will use each others facilities for the provision of services and joint scientific work.
