Kabul University's Biology Faculty Computer Lab was inaugurated by Kabul University Chancellor and Senior Minister Adviser of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Higher Education Affairs, and the Retired Professors of that Faculty were honored

Prof.  Hamidullah Farooqi Chancellor of Kabul University and Senior Minister Adviser of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Higher Education Affairs, participated in the opening ceremony of the computer lab and the program for praise and appreciation of the professors of the Biology Faculty on Sunday 14th October and he officially opened the Faculty Computer Lab.

This computer lab which is provided by Kabul University, is with a capacity of 15 computer bases and its associated services to equip students with the Internet in order to teach better and carry out the research work of the students of that faculty. Prof.  Hamidullah Farooqi Chancellor of Kabul University and Senior Minister Adviser of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Higher Education Affairs, Deans of Biology and Chemistry Faculties, the professors, the staff and students of that faculty were participated in this ceremony.

At the beginning of the program, Ms. Kaihannh Sahibzadah Tayeb welcomed the attendance and approval of all the participants of the program. She thanked Kabul University's assistant and co-operation for equipping the Faculty Computer Lab and appreciated the retired professors and their cooperation with Faculty.

Subsequently, Prof.  Hamidullah Farooqi Chancellor of Kabul University and Senior Minister Adviser of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Higher Education Affairs, congratulated the convinced faculty members of the university, who, during their assignment, served students and carried out research and value-added studies, it and he thanked and appreciated the duties of these professors in all circumstances of the country and thanked the Dean of Biology Faculty for launching this program. Meanwhile, Kabul University Chancellor said this Computer Lab and computer connectivity with the Internet, is a new hope and new gateway for its students: technology is a serious necessity in contemporary educational institutions, and further areas for providing scientific and research work. The introduction and operation of this computer is an effective step for scientific and research work, and called on all students of that faculty to make optimal use of their computer lab and technology.

Honorable Prof. Nasim Gul Tutakhail, and Prof. Qudratullah Oryakhail, professors of Biology Faculty, also talked about the subject and thanked the indisputable services of the convinced members of this faculty, with the assistance and cooperation of Kabul University Chair in all scientific and administrative affairs.

Biological faculty has been separated from the Faculty of Science of Kabul University as an independent faculty two years ago to the faculty level, but still suffers from organizational problems and lack of equipment. The task of equipping the computer lab of that faculty is a timely and admirable act.

At the end of program, the acclaim and deliverables for the professors convinced by the Biology Faculty on the part of the department were considered by Kabul University Chancellor and the Deans of Chemistry and Biology Faculties. Also, the computer lab was officially opened on their behalf and put into operation.
