Professional Enrollment Exam for Master Program at Kabul University

The exam was taken on Saturday 24th March 2018 in Psychology and Education, Social Sciences, Language and Literature, Economics, Agriculture, Law and Political Science, and Computer Science Faculties.

At the beginning, honorable Prof.  Hamidullah Farooqi Chancellor of Kabul University and Senior Minister Adviser of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Higher Education Affairs  stated in his speech that, this year master program examinations have been an immense effort to complete the full transparency, provide justice, and create a healthy competitive environment for not to ignore the rights of individuals.

During the exam, a number of faculty leaders, professors and students of Kabul University also attended and the bank of questions were opened in their presence and the exam began.

 

Mr. Farooqi added that in the examination of master's programs this year, according to the standards and bills of the Ministry of Higher Education, there are 30 seats in each program and the same number of qualified candidates, of which 50% by the competitive test and 50% University professors are enrolled in master programs. Kabul University Chancellor assured that no one could interfere in the exam process, and that the administration will not accept any person's request.  Mr. Farooqi assured that Kabul University is trying to attract those who cannot pass in this program for future programs.

 

Then, Prof.  Hamidullah Farooqi Chancellor of Kabul University and Senior Minister Adviser of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Higher Education Affairs and some Kabul University Leaderships visited the process of master program enrollment exam. During the visit, Kabul University Chancellor asked the professors to take care of the examinations and consider the basic exam requirements; he also wished success to the program, asking him to test the discipline and principles of the exam during the exam.

 

It should be noted that, this year in the specialty master enrollment exam, there were 2,000 male and female applicants and among these applicants the ones who received the highest score, are going to be recruited in master's programs, the remaining 50% seats are reserved for the professors from the universities in Kabul and Provinces.
