Agreement letter between Faculty of Administration and Public Policy of Kabul University and Afghanistan National Procurement Department

This Agreement letter between Faculty of Administration and Public Policy of Kabul University and Afghanistan National Procurement Department has been signed on Saturday 5th of August 2017 by Professor Hamidullah Farooqi Chancellor of Kabul University and Advisor of Minister in Higher Education Affairs of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan government, and Yama Yari Head of National Procurement Department while M. Reza Farzam Deputy of Finance and administration, Dr. Tafsera Hashimi Deputy of Students Affairs, Jamaludeen Saburi Dean of Faculty of Policy and Administration, professors and number of employees were present.

This agreement letter includes topics related to the organization of midterm training for fourth grade students and graduates, short-term trainings for third and fourth grade students in the National Office of Public Procurement in the Faculty of Policy and Administration. And development and improvement of skills, capacities and expertise in the utilization of resources, exchange of academic resources, experiences, development and mutual cooperation between the two organs. Therefore, this agreement letter by head of Kabul University and Afghanistan National Procurement Department was signed based on agreement of National Procurement Department with coordination of Faculty of Policy and Administration. The purpose was taking entrance examinations from graduated students to be introduced to midterm internships, providing guidance and training for trainees. In addition,  Faculty of Public Administration and Public Policy of Kabul University is required to comply with all the provisions of the terms and conditions stated in the agreement, and to carry out the timely fulfillment of the obligations contained in the relevant contracts and coordination of affairs related to the administration.

  In this ceremony, in addition to the speeches of two organs, other participants also talked about the importance and role of the coordination of governmental and private institutions with academic and educational institutes. The main aim was to strengthen these institutions and improving academic quality of students.
